I broke it  Smiley

I clicked on V7 quick view and while the window opened it generated a crash report.  The taskbar didn't actually close tho, it stayed open.

I opened the control panel and clicked "show icons on the taskbar system tray" and the taskbar crashed ( I got that windows searching for a solution box).  Whilst the taskbar closed and restarted it didn't generate an error log.

Ticked the "show icons" box again and the taskbar crashed and generated an error log this time (it has been sent).  The taskbar tried to restart and crashed again (no error log) and I had to start manually.  After the restart the tick stayed in the "show icons" box and I could untick it without the taskbar crashing.

YES TRANSPARENCY! Cheesy Thank you muchly, my desktop looks so much more sexy now Grin

Seems to be working alright, apart from the control panel says 1 trial day remaining?  Huh?

Will this actually run out in a day or is it locked or something?

Cheers! Smiley

@JohnOz: I took a look at both issues and believe they are now resolved. I've rebuilt the installer and replaced it on both mirrors. The build number hasn't changed. Please try this build and let me know if the issue persists.

Did the control panel state you have 1 day remaining before you installed this build?

Please check the download page on the web site. I've addressed the issue and T7 will now reset your trial to 30 days upon first run after installing the new build (1.9.9.61).

Best Regards,
Scott

The crash was caused by a connection outage by my ISP. I've updated the updater to handle this and will repost the installer shortly.

...although I'm not sure why that would have crashed T7 as well being the updater is a separate executable...

No where near as stable as 1.9.9.51, it randomly crashes even when I'm just scrolling down a webpage or selecting a track on iTunes whether it be on my primary screen or not.

Dunno what I'm doing to make it crash so I can't tell you but it just keeps crashing out of the blue, gonna revert back to 1.9.9.51 till next release.

Do you you have it set to automatically check for updates?

Not too sure I'll re install 1.9.9.6 and see if that helps.

I installed it again, went on to the control panel to check see if it was to look for updates, and it crashed, just by being on the control panel.

I'll try again though and see if it happens again. 1.9.9.51 was the most stable in my opinion, all it needed was transparency and I could have used it no problem.

Glad to see you're still developing though! Cheesy

I'm getting the same crash as joshbryan.  Is there a specific location to check the update setting ?

not sure where to find if the updater is on auto or manual but if I launch T7 then try an update it crashes immediately.
